The California Forum for Diversity in Graduate Education (or simply the Diversity Forum) is a statewide student success initiative designed to offer graduate education opportunities to underrepresented students. This full-day event takes place annually and features workshops, panels, and a recruitment fair. Workshop topics include how to apply for graduate school, funding options and financial aid for graduate school, and which activities to engage in to prepare for graduate school. The Diversity Forum arranges panel sessions of faculty and graduate students by discipline and some panels focus on health, wellness, and success strategies in graduate school. The recruitment fair component of the Diversity Forum features over 100 campuses recruiting California students to their graduate programs. This year, the Diversity Forum will be held on October 19, 2024 at the University of California, Riverside. Registration is now open!
